The most common and serious electrical injuries occur when electrical current flows between the hands and feet. This happens when a person touches an energized line. The electrical energy is looking for the shortest path to the ground, and it will pass through the body to the feet to reach it.
Precautions for avoiding electrical shocks include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Always make sure electric tools are properly grounded or double insulated.
- Always check to be sure the grounding system is complete.
- Use heavy duty grounded extension cords.
- Avoid mixing water and electricity
Nowadays, high pressure steam cleaning is a popular method for many businesses where the highest health standards are essential.
AM Retail services provides pressure steam cleaning, where the high pressure of the steam with temperatures of 150°C or more kills germs without the need for chemicals. This also is an ideal solution for hypoallergenic environments, which is good for a workplace.
A lot less water is used than comparing to traditional methods, thus far more energy-efficient, minimising drying time and freeing up the workplace to let your staff get straight back to business.
